TUCUME This archaeological site reunites dozens of pyramids, mounds, and, enclosures, surrounding La Raya Mountain, south of La Leche River. It covers over 530 acres that include more than 26 pyramids and platforms. It was an important regional center and probably the capital of several successive inhabitants of the Lambayeque region, including Sican, Chimu, and, the Incas. |
